Hopefully you have had a good summer, and many thanks to all of those who gave up some of their time to help with the maintenance of the hall and gardens.
Standing orders for subs, that stopped over the summer, need to be restarted now. If you need a form, please ask, but if you use online/phone banking you can set the payment up yourself. Our account is in the name of 7th Clackmannan Scout group, sort code 800528, account no 00223747. Please quote your child’s name, and make sure that the standing order is only set up for 10 months @ £6.95.
A few upcoming dates for your diaries:
- The Beaver Sports will be taking place on Saturday 21 September from 2pm – 4pm at Tullibody Scout and Guide hall. The cost is £2, which includes a drink and snack. Please return the form and payment by 11 September if you want your child to attend.
- The annual torchlight welly walk is on Saturday 16 November. The whole family can attend.
- And on Wednesday 13 November we will join the Cubs for a visit to Alloa Mosque as part of the Faith badge. We will also attend the Remembrance service in Clackmannan Church on Sunday 10 November as part of this badge.
Can you help? We will be short of a leader on 18 September, and we will also need parental help for the sports event and mosque visit. As usual, we greatly appreciate any help you can give. Also, if you have particular skills you could share with the children, this would be much appreciated. Contact Lorna if you are able to help out.
