Hi all, hope you and your family have recovered from the camp. Any lost property that was found on our site is back at our hall, if things drifted further away they could be at the District office – please let us know if you are missing anything. Thanks to the parents who attended and helped.
Beavers and Cubs will be having a guided nature walk at Gartmorn Dam next Wednesday 28 May instead of the usual sessions. They should meet (in uniform) at the Visitor Centre at 6.30pm and we will finish at 8pm. Children should be collected from the Visitor Centre. We will need some adult support for this – please call/text Lorna if you can help us on 07917411421.
Scout Community Week is from 2 – 8 June. We are taking part in this by doing a litter pick on Wednesday 4 June from 6.30pm – 8pm. Beavers, Cubs and Scouts are asked to meet at the yellow gates to the cycle path, near to Devon Way, Clackmannan at 6.30pm. They should be in uniform and you may wish to give them gloves to wear. Litter pickers and bags will be supplied. Again we are asking for some adults to help us with this, please let Lorna know on the number above. We will finish the litter pick around 8pm, and children can either be collected at the drop off point or walk up to the hall for a roll and sausage.
We are hoping that the Cubs will be able to attend a Commonwealth Games event on Saturday 14 June, more details will follow when we have them, but it is likely to take place in Kincardine. Keep this date free if you can!
