At the moment we do not have enough leaders available to allow all sections to participate fully and safely in this year’s District camp. So we are asking parents if they would be able to help out to enable all groups to attend the event.
The plan is for the Cubs and Scouts to camp out on Friday and Saturday with the Beavers visiting from 11.30am – 3.00pm on Saturday to complete part of their Scottish Challenge badge.
Your child has been given a letter with a form outlining the type of help we require. Please can you fill it out and return it by 30 April/1 May indicating what support you are able to provide. You can also contact Lorna on 07917411421.
We will confirm next week whether or not we will be able to attend this year’s District camp.
Please be aware that parents who help out will not have undertaken Scouting’s Child Protection training, or had a PVG (Disclosure) check done by us, and this may affect your decision in allowing your child to attend.
